RecFocus offers professional videography, photography, and drone-based production services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. Projects may include pre-production planning, on-site filming or photography, post-production editing, and may involve creative direction, multi-camera setups, audio recording, drone cinematics, advanced color grading, motion design, and more.

 

Every engagement is tailored to your needs — whether it’s a simple shoot, a complex production, or a custom creative project. We will provide a detailed quote based on your requirements.

Booking & Payment Terms

 

To reserve a date or begin work on a project, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit secures staff, equipment, and your time slot. Until the deposit is received, the date is not confirmed.

 

The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed date — typically before final delivery — unless otherwise specified in writing. Final deliverables will be released only after full payment is received.

 

We accept various payment methods: electronic payment, credit/debit card, bank transfer, or check.

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify us as early as possible. Note that deposits are always non-refundable, due to the commitments required for planning and resource scheduling. Rescheduling depends on availability and may incur extra costs.

Service Delivery & Client Responsibilities

 

We strive to deliver every project on time and as described in our agreement. However, certain external factors can impact timelines — for example, weather, location restrictions, technical problems, or other unforeseen events beyond our control. In such cases, we will communicate promptly and work to adjust or reschedule as needed.

 

To ensure a smooth production, you must supply accurate project details, grant access to all required locations, secure any necessary permits or permissions (e.g., for drone use or restricted sites), and provide all creative direction in a timely manner. If we arrive on-site and cannot proceed due to missing information or lack of access, extra fees or delays may apply.

 

Delays in client feedback, materials, or approvals may also shift the planned delivery timeline.

Revisions, Project Files & Final Deliverables

 

Your project includes a specified number of revisions (as agreed during quoting). Revisions cover refinements — they are not meant for full re-edits or major changes. Additional edits beyond the agreed number will incur additional cost.

 

Unless separately arranged, raw footage, original project files, editing timelines, color grades, templates, and other underlying assets remain the exclusive property of RecFocus. Standard deliverables do not include these source or editable files.

 

Once we’ve received full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final deliverables for their intended purpose. You may share, post, or distribute the final content, but you may not resell, license, re-sell, or redistribute it for commercial use outside the original agreed scope — unless you obtain explicit written permission.

Confidentiality & Professional Integrity

 

During a project, either party may share sensitive information — business data, creative plans, financial info, personal data, login credentials, or other proprietary materials. Both you and RecFocus commit to keeping all such information confidential. Confidential information should not be shared publicly or with third parties unless required by law or agreed to in writing.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue production if project conditions become unsafe, unprofessional, or if they violate local laws, regulatory requirements, or, where applicable, aviation/drone regulations.

Liability, Limitations & Indemnification

 

RecFocus aims to deliver top-quality, professional services. However, certain factors are beyond our control — like weather, venue restrictions, equipment failures, client negligence, inaccurate information, emergencies, or third-party interference. In such cases, we cannot be held liable for losses, damages, or delays caused by these circumstances.

 

Our total liability for any claim — regardless of cause — is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service. You agree to indemnify and hold RecFocus harmless from any claims, losses, or damages that arise from misuse of the deliverables, failure to secure permissions/permits, violations of these terms, or other breaches on your part.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to try to resolve it amicably and in good faith first. If resolution fails, the dispute will be settled exclusively in the appropriate Maryland courts.

As our services evolve, we may update or revise these Terms to reflect changes in offerings, technology, or legal requirements. Updated Terms become effective immediately once posted on our website.
